Whether you are a lifelong Mario fan or simply looking for a fun day out with the family, this massive celebration at Daiwa House PREMIST DOME, formerly Sapporo Dome, on September 13, 2026, promises to add an extra power-up to your Japan adventure.

Event Highlights: More Than a Run, It’s a Mario-Themed Fun Fest!

The approximately 2.5-kilometer course winds through both the inside and outside of the dome. Even those who rarely exercise should have no trouble reaching the goal!
Along the way, runners will find plenty of Mario-themed photo spots. Enjoy classic game music as you explore the course and snap memorable photos with family and friends.
Exclusive Goodies Just for Runners

Every registered runner will receive a bundle of limited-edition souvenirs created especially for the event!
The lineup includes an official T-shirt produced with support from UNIQLO, featuring the iconic Goal Pole on the back, and an official towel produced with support from Mizuno. Runners will also receive an original sports cap, drawstring bag, race bib, and a special medal after crossing the finish line.
These exclusive items are only available to runners and will not be sold separately!
Plenty of Venue-Exclusive Fun

Not planning to run? No problem! Visitors can purchase an admission ticket and enjoy a variety of activities inside the venue.
Exclusive Merchandise: Pick up limited-edition Mario goods as the perfect souvenir from your Hokkaido adventure.
Mini-Games: Try target shooting, ring toss, water balloon fishing, original tote bag decorating, and more. Activities start from 500 yen and are especially fun for families with children.
Hokkaido Food: Snack on original churros or visit the Matsuo Jingisukan food truck for Hokkaido’s famous grilled mutton.
New Game Experiences: Visitors can also get an early hands-on look at Nintendo Switch™ 2 software.

・Hours: Doors open at 8:30 AM; morning run starts at 11 AM; afternoon run starts at 3:30 PM
・Venue: Daiwa House PREMIST DOME, formerly Sapporo Dome, Sapporo
・Runner Tickets, Including Admission: Adults, junior high school students and older: 6,600 yen; children, elementary school students and younger: 5,500 yen
・Admission-Only Advance Tickets: Adults: 1,100 yen; elementary school students: 550 yen; preschool children: Free
・Admission-Only Same-Day Tickets: Adults: 3,300 yen; elementary school students: 1,650 yen; preschool children: Free
How to Register
Runner registration opens at 10 AM on July 10, 2026. Capacity is limited to 3,000 runners for both the morning and afternoon sessions, so be sure to sign up before all the spots disappear!

Dates: July 18 to September 12, 2026
How to Play: Purchase a stamp book for 1,300 yen at the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, also known as the Red Brick Office. Then explore famous attractions around Sapporo while collecting stamps and answering Super Mario trivia questions.
Prize: Complete every checkpoint and answer all the questions to receive a special Sapporo Walk Rally commemorative Star Coin!
It may just be the most playful way to explore Sapporo before racing toward the goal.
