At each of the four Alice in Wonderland restaurants around Tokyo, there will be a summer mermaid-themed event – A Caucus Race in a Sea of Tears.
In a Caucus Race there are no rules, all of the participants run haphazardly around in no particular direction, and everyone wins. Alice and the other animals decided to start a Caucus Race after Alice created a sea of tears and they all needed to dry off.
At the Alice in Wonderland dining spots in Tokyo, there will be a wonderland seaside theme for the coming months. Why not come and experience the wonder with us?
Recommended – Garlic Seafood Salad on the Beach (980 yen)
You’re walking along the beach in wonderland when you see... an overturned bucket?! What a mess! With its original spices and fresh seafood and vegetables, this dramatic dish makes for a perfect “seaside” memory. This dish is available at all Alice in Wonderland cafes around Tokyo.
Original cocktails
Sea of Tears Kiwi Lassi (Left, Alcoholic, 620 yen)
A beautiful white ball of ice cream floats above a sea of cream soda. This cocktail that is reminiscent of something from some exotic land has a sweetness that is sure to make you feel pleasantly tipsy.
Blue Muscat Soda (Right, Non-alcoholic, 650 yen)
This virgin cocktail has an elegant gradation of blues, suggestive of a mermaid in the sea. Not too sweet, this bubbly muscat-flavored drink makes for a perfect partner to your meal.
Each Wonderland has its own Signature Dish!
A light and summery pasta reminiscent of shell collecting on the beach.
He’s late, he’s late! For a very important dessert! You can see the white rabbit’s behind but can you catch him? This heavenly dessert is made with a fluffy white mousse and a shiny blue jelly, sure to make a fine end to your meal!
This sea-blue dessert with a hint of citrus is topped with a cute ramune shell. With chocolate and meringue everyone will be too full to fit down the rabbit hole afterwards!
The red queen would be jealous to know of the green queen of hearts’ dessert! Mint chocolate is trending in Japan right now, and what better way to make the most of tat than with a refreshing mint-flavored parfait?
Starting from July 25, there will also be this Green Hat Gazpacho and Summer Fruit Soup, only available in Alice in the Labyrinth!
