While there are many hotels by Tokyo Disneyland, these options can be quite costly and they aren’t exactly conveniently located for going elsewhere in Tokyo. One solution is to stay in Tokyo’s Hatchobori neighborhood, where there are reasonably priced hotels and hostels, easy access to other places in Tokyo, and it is only around 20 minutes from Tokyo Disneyland.
Today we will introduce four accommodations in the Hatchobori area which are perfect hotels by Tokyo Disneyland.
Why get accommodations near Hatchobori Station?
Tokyo Disney Resort is located in Chiba Prefecture, to the southeast of Tokyo. It is well-connected by train and bus. The most direct and convenient way to get to Tokyo Disneyland from Tokyo Station is to take the JR Keiyo Line/Musashino Line (220 yen one way) to JR Maihama Station, which takes around 15-20 minutes.
Getting from Hatchobori Station to Disneyland is easy. As Hatchobori Station is on both JR Keiyo Line (one stop from Tokyo Station) and on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. It is a quiet light commercial and residential neighborhood located within walking distance from the Sumida River, with convenient access to many of Tokyo’s prime sightseeing spots.
1. DJ Hostel Ginza
DJ Hostel Ginza opened in August 2018 as a dormitory-type hostel; as such you will find the hotel’s interior and accommodation to be both modern and pleasant. In the dormitory itself, you will be quite surprised by the privacy of the beds, which are reminiscent of those in capsule hotels.
Their accommodation is suitable for a variety of different traveler types as they also offer short stays bookable in three-hour increments and rooms with a twin bed. Count it among the hotels by Tokyo Disneyland. DJ Hostel Ginza is a three-minute walk to Hatchobori Station, and is also a short walk away from Ginza and Tsukiji.
Room Details
DJ Hostel Ginza is particularly good for couples, travelers on their own and families with older kids. It has easy access to the train station – from which you can get to Tokyo Disneyland in around 20 minutes.
The shower rooms include free amenities; there is also a laundry room and even an outside terrace. It is a great budget location that won’t hit the wallet ahead of Disneyland, and it offers great access to central Tokyo.
Prices
Prices range from 2,500 yen per person per night for the dormitory to 7,500 yen for a twin room for two people.
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am, though as mentioned you can also book a stay for periods at least three hours long. Their staff also speak English to a good level, so you don’t have to worry about the language barrier.
Breakfast, or any meals, are not provided, but there is a common room with vending machines and a mini-kitchen.
They have wireless internet which is free of charge.

2. Wise Owl Hostels Tokyo
Wise Owl Hostels Tokyo combines supreme access to Hatchobori Station (it’s located immediately outside the B1 or A1 exit) and a range of accommodation that is suitable for families, couples and more. If you're on a budget, be sure to bookmark this spot while you're searching for hotels by Tokyo Disneyland.
Room Details
The dormitories and private rooms have been finished with wood, giving the interior a slightly rustic, yet comfortable feel.
There is plenty of space for luggage, and there are very useful facilities like a kitchen, as well as shops and convenience stores nearby.
Prices
Dormitory beds start from 2,500 yen per person per night going up to 8,000 yen for a private room for four people. The private rooms are absolutely spot on for families, even those with small children. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 10am.
Facilities
There is an onsite restaurant, bar and coffee stand. However, the restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner, so for breakfast the options are either buying food out at the coffee stand or going out for breakfast. Each night’s stay includes a free drink at the bar.
There is free Wi-Fi, as well as a shared lounge and shower rooms.
This hostel combines together a great location, with convenience, for budget travelers. The range of room types lends itself to being a good option for both families with young or older kids, groups of travelers and people travelling on their own. The bar and shared lounge also make it very easy to make friends with other travelers and relax.

3. APA Hotel Hatchobori-Eki-Minami
APA is a popular Japanese business hotel chain that can be found up and down the country, and this one is conveniently a short walk from Hatchobori Station. It is suitable for any type of traveler, and offers a slightly better class of accommodation.
Room Details
The rooms, although cozy, as is typical for Japanese business hotels, give you enough space to really relax, and include free amenities, large-screen TVs with international channels and wide-size, comfortable bedding. This allows you to not only leave your hotel feeling completely relaxed, but also after visiting Disneyland it gives you a private comfortable space to recover!
Prices
However, there is a price for this comfort with a double rooms costing from 9,000 to 12,000 yen; and twin rooms from around 26,000 yen per night. (Note that room prices change depending on the season and event, and the best available rate can be found on APA's official website.)
Facilities
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. This hotel offers another convenience in the form of free check-out boxes which make it very easy to depart. And, as is pretty standard for many hotels, there is free luggage storage.
You can have a buffet breakfast (Hatchobori BAL 873) at a cost of 1,200 yen per adult and 600 yen per child (up to elementary school age) if booked in advance, or 1,400 yen per adult and 600 yen per child for same day diners. Breakfast is served from 7am to 9:30am.
There is free Wi-Fi, and wired LAN. There is a small laundry room on the second floor, but please note there are only a couple of machines.
The range of rooms means it is suitable for travelers on their own, couples and families – but please note that they can only accommodate a maximum of two adults and one child per room, so for larger families you would need to consider booking two rooms.
It's also very accessible as one of the hotels near Tokyo Disneyland. With Hatchobori Station just being 3 minutes away you will be in Disneyland in no time, and at the end of the day its bright lights will welcome you home to a soft bed and quiet atmosphere which you will have more than earned!

4. Tokyo Sakurako Tsukiji
This hotel is a bit further away from Hatchobori Station (it’s around a 10-minute walk), but offers a home away from home which is particularly good for families. It is very new, having opened in November 2018, and is more properly classified as an apartment hotel as they offer studio apartments and even a spacious apartment which sleeps five.
Room Details
Here you will find a mini-kitchen and a living room, as well as a 24-hour laundry corner. Besides the fact that the amenities are free, the best thing about this accommodation in terms of families is the baby products, children’s books and board games.
Prices
This is the priciest option, the biggest apartment costing from 25,000 yen per night – but this is per night and not per person. So, if it is for five people it is actually quite reasonable!
Check-in is from 3pm to 10pm. This is important to note as there isn’t a 24-hour reception and there is a late check-in fee for guests arriving between 10pm and midnight. Check-out is at 10am which is a little earlier than other hotels.
Facilities
They don’t have an onsite restaurant, so there are no included breakfast options. But each flat includes a small kitchen which includes a microwave, kitchenware, tea and coffee. And free Wi-Fi.
These flats are very popular and booked out months in advance, so you have to plan ahead if you want to stay here. The prices are quite good for the budget-conscious if you are a big family or group of travelers who want to stay together, and this accommodation allows you to truly enjoy living in Japan just as if you actually live here.
This apartment hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station. However, if you have kids it makes perfect sense to stay somewhere like here where you can really enjoy family time and make use of the free children’s games.
