Hotel Sunbird

Next-door to Minakami Fujiwara Ski Resort, Hotel Sunbird boasts 11 private-use hot spring baths, a tennis court and karaoke. It offers rental bicycles, massage treatments and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. A free shuttle is provided from Minakami Station.

Guests at Hotel Sunbird can go rafting, canoeing or fishing in the area, or unwind in the public open-air hot spring bath. They can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the first 40 minutes in a private hot spring bath free of charge. Rental ski gear is available.

Comfortable Japanese-style rooms offer nature views and a seating area with chairs and a coffee table. They feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding, while amenities include an LCD TV, a fridge and yukata robes. Some rooms have an open-air hot spring bath, made of Cypress wood.

Sunbird offers a breakfast buffet with hot and cold fare, while for dinner it serves seasonal Japanese dishes. Room service is available.

The Sunbird Hotel is only a 3-minute drive from Minakami Golf resort, while JR Minakami Station is 30 minutes with its complimentary shuttle.
