Continuing the journey to the local area This is Kyoto Sanjo, which was once depicted as the starting/ending point of the Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido. It is a place where people and things from all over the country gathered and created new culture. We will develop various content with local players from all over Japan based on this context. We hope that our activities will bring new excitement to the city of Kyoto and provide an opportunity for visitors to travel to attractive local areas of Japan. <About the existing building> This building is the former Nippon Life Kyoto Sanjo Building, which is partially a registered tangible cultural property. The cultural property part of the building, which began construction in 1912 and was completed in 1914, was designed by the Tatsuno & Kataoka Architectural Office led by Tatsuno Kingo, known for Tokyo Station, and their style is well reflected in the stone-clad exterior. Currently, all that remains is one span of the company building facing Yanagi-no-Maba-dori, which was demolished in 1983 leaving only that part, and the office building was expanded.
Just a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station, it is located in an area where there are many restaurants such as Ebisu Yokocho. We are proud to offer Finnish saunas for men and women. Please finish the sauna room to your favorite humidity with Cellulouryu. The sauna can also be used for day trips (no reservation required).
A 100% natural hot spring that is completely flushed without heating, watering, or circulation. The building is old, but the location is good, 5 minutes by car from the airport, and parking of passenger cars is free. (Neighborhood, large bus, large truck parking lot will be charged 1100 yen separately.)
