A small island inn offering a gateway to everyday life on Koshikijima. In April 2018, FUJIYA HOSTEL (Fujiya Hostel) was born anew, run by Yamashita Shoten, a tofu shop that renovated a century-old traditional house and took over Boat Inn Fuji, a beloved destination for anglers over many years. It accommodates only four groups per day. 50 minutes by high-speed ferry or 70 minutes by regular ferry from mainland Kyushu. Disembark at Sato Port on Kamikoshikijima, the gateway to the Koshikijima Islands, and you'll find yourself in a completely different world.Pass through the beautiful cobblestone Samurai Residence Street, filled with tropical vibes, and drive for 10 minutes.At this wooden single-story island inn with an unusual bay window, we await your arrival. Our wish is to warmly welcome visitors from all over the world, allowing them to experience the everyday life of Koshikijima, feel the unadorned, simple island lifestyle and its scenery, and share enjoyable moments together.

A guesthouse renovated from a traditional Japanese house over 100 years old. It has a total of three rooms: two dormitory rooms and one private room, accommodating up to 11 guests. The shared space includes a mini kitchen equipped for simple cooking (with a rice cooker). On the second floor, there is a coworking space available for those who need to work on their computers. It is also recommended for long-term stays.Please feel free to use our facilities. Next door, there is a café converted from a closed public bath, offering lunches, sweets, and drinks made with local ingredients from Yakumo. Eating meals in the bathtub is bound to be a unique and unforgettable experience. (※ Business hours: 11:00-17:00 　Closed: Mondays and Tuesdays) Check-in is handled using an unmanned tablet-based system. Staff are available on-site until 5:00 PM. If you input your information in advance on the customer My Page we send beforehand, the check-in process will be smoother.

●There is no bus, shower, or toilet in the guest rooms. Shared use is divided by gender. ●Face towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes are provided. ●Air conditioners will be installed in the guest rooms (starting from the summer of 2024). ●An oil FF stove is installed. ●Wi-Fi is available (password required). ●The entire building is non-smoking.Please smoke on the porch outside the entrance. ●The bath is not a hot spring; it is a recirculating bath. ●The shared refrigerator and freezer are installed in the hallway. ●Vending machines (drinking water, canned beer) are installed within the facility. ●A free drink corner is set up in the dining hall. ●For security reasons, the entrance door will be locked at 11 PM.We kindly ask you to strictly adhere to the specified time.
