A travel-loving host who has journeyed across Japan and the world (from Wakkanai in Hokkaido in the north to Iriomote Island in Okinawa in the south) has created a hidden, one-group-per-day retreat called 'Turtle Base,' incorporating the essence learned from travels so that guests can enjoy a comfortable time. Measures are taken to address concerns about dust mites at the accommodation. Each time a guest changes, we use a futon dryer and a futon-specific vacuum cleaner to prepare bedding that ensures a safe and comfortable sleep. Additionally, waterproof sheets are available for guests with small children. The shower booth is spacious and generously sized (120×80) allowing stress-free use, whether bathing with children or scrubbing your body thoroughly. The private room is situated on the first floor of a three-story standalone house. The entrance is shared with the host, but you can come and go freely with contactless check-in.
The hotel also serves as a roadside restaurant for tourists called Benkyoya(study house). Their heart-warming handmade dishes, such as a hot pot dish using ingredients from Mt. Chichibusan and freshwater fish cuisine, are very popular. You can also have a barbecue from spring to autumn.
