Newly built and opened in 2008, this beautiful facility is not wheelchair accessible, but it is clean and bright with no steps. There are only three guest rooms, all 33㎡ Japanese-style rooms with 10 tatami mats (unit bath with a view, shower toilet, large sink, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator/freezer, TV), private hot spring (open-air bath and indoor bath), and the sound of the waves and the ocean visible through the pine trees.

An inn near the sea is a great location for marine leisure activities. All rooms have an ocean view. Wi-Fi connection is available in rooms. Enjoy its specialty, seafood meals.

The fifth floor will have one spa suite, which will open in March 2023. The second floor is equipped with a bed and desk, and has a spa room with a hot spring bath, a forest-themed forest room, a shared compact room, and rooms with themes of the purpose of your stay, comfortable space, workcation, and free time. When you want to change your mood, you can relax in each of the lounges with different themes, and occasionally take a dip in the hot spring to warm your body. Take a walk to feel the refreshing air of nature. We have created an inn that can offer guests visiting Shima a Shin Touji experience that is adapted to modern lifestyles, reminiscent of the Touji experience that Meiji era literary figures would have had when they visited Shima Onsen and other hot springs, where they would have been healed in both body and mind and inspired to create. Although we do not offer generous service, all of our staff strive to provide honest and friendly hospitality. At Dining Shimanone on the first floor, we await our guests with handmade soba noodles and delicious sake.
