This is an inn located at the foot of the mountain where the ruins of Iwamura Castle, selected as one of Japan's 100 famous castles and one of the three great mountain castles, are situated. The exterior reflects the atmosphere of a Ninomaru (second bailey). The high atrium lobby designed in the style of gassho-zukuri (traditional Japanese architecture), along with the dining hall's large space featuring thick beams, creates a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era.
A hotel located right in front of Kisarazu Port, it serves its guests with Kaiseki ryori (a traditional-style Japanese meal). At the front entrance is a Japanese garden sprawling 3970 square meters. The wooden building has a Showa retro feel (a classic style which brings back memories of the 60′s and 70′s). Their delicious kaiseki-style traditional Japanese meals are favored by the local foodies.
It's a small inn, but since it is built on a slope, there are many stairs. The building has three levels: from the top, 【Front desk (1st floor), Guest rooms (B1), Guest rooms (B2) and the passageway to the bath】, and there is no elevator. For check-in, check-out, and moving to the dining area, you will need to use the spiral staircase.
