A hidden hot spring inn located in front of the famous waterfall of Minamiboso, "Awamata Falls," situated in Yoro Valley in the south-central part of Chiba Prefecture.Otaki Town, which includes Yoro Valley, has long been an important trading hub where mountain and sea products intersect.Despite being a mountain inn, you can enjoy carefully selected delicacies from the mountains and seas of Minamiboso.The hot spring was named "Fossil Bath" because a sea urchin fossil from about 120 million years ago was discovered during its excavation. Its components are effective for skin diseases, burns, and wounds, earning it the nickname "Beauty Bath."Relax and unwind while surrounded by the majestic nature of inner Boso Peninsula.
A long-established inn with over 100 years of history, preserving the hot spring source excavated in 1921. An onsen ryokan where you can enjoy a free private open-air bath, room-served meals in the morning and evening, and creative kaiseki cuisine featuring delicious Yamagata beef at Kaminoyama Onsen. For up to 3 guests, meals are served in your room, allowing for a private and intimate time.For groups of 4 or more, a private dining room will be provided. There is also a service allowing you to use one of the four private baths in the facility for 40 minutes per room per night, free of charge.
