In Kyoto's hidden retreat, you can enjoy your meal amidst the tranquility and the changing seasons. In spring, surrounded by Mitsuba azalea and fresh greenery, In summer, we prepare dinner from June to September on a riverside platform set up along the flow of the Kiyotaki River. In June, you can see natural Genji fireflies. In autumn, you can enjoy some of the finest autumn foliage in the Kansai region. In winter, we serve our specialty, botan nabe (wild boar hot pot).

A 20-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park and located right in front of Shiga Kogen Ski Resort, the entirely non-smoking Aspen Shiga boasts an indoor hot-spring bath, a fireplace lounge and a breakfast with homemade bread.
