A guesthouse run by guide monks with over 200 year-history. You can experience Takigyo (meditation under a water fall), breath control exercise and meditation as well as unique programs such as crystal ball healing and Japanese Kigaku fortune telling.
This pension is popular for its barbecue-style dinners featuring 100% Higo Akabushi beef hamburg steaks grilled over charcoal and handmade bread served at breakfast. We offer accommodations uncommon among nearby pensions, such as rooms that can accommodate four or more guests and a log house rental complete with a wood stove. There are three guest rooms in the main building and one log house, making a total of four rooms, all maintained with cleanliness and a warm sense of hospitality. The garden, blooming with seasonal flowers, features a handmade seesaw and swing crafted by the owner, which are especially popular with children. Although some facilities may not be as comprehensive as those found in hotels, we would be delighted to help you enjoy a leisurely and peaceful time.
