20 Ryokan in Japan

This old hot spring inn has been renovated. Although meals are not provided, please feel as if you are back home. The rooms are only on the second floor. (Use the stairs.) You can use the inn as a base to visit Shiretoko, Akan, and other places! It is a 20-minute walk from JR Mashu Station, but the roads are slippery, so we recommend taking a taxi. Opening hours: 8am to 8pm

In October 2023, San'in's Gottsuo-filled dinner buffet starts! Enjoy Shimane's local cuisine that shines with history and traditional techniques, as well as Shimane Wagyu beef, seafood raised in the Sea of Japan, and gorgeous sweets created by our pastry chef.
