The hidden inn 'Oyado Nihon no Ashitaba' is located in Yufuin, one of the most renowned hot spring towns in the country. Within its vast 4,500-tsubo (approximately 14,850 square meters) grounds, there are only 13 lodging facilities, offering a luxurious space. The inn is situated on a hilltop, where the air is clear and fresh, making some feel as if they are on a highland. Each of the 13 buildings boasts top-class construction, even when compared nationwide. The relocated traditional Japanese houses and Western-style buildings exude a nostalgic yet elegant charm. Each building is positioned at a comfortable distance, ensuring a private space for guests. The entire inn is laid out like a small village, allowing guests to enjoy strolling through the expansive grounds or simply relaxing in their rooms. Elderly guests may feel a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of their childhood days. Younger guests can enjoy a serene and refined experience that soothes the soul. The hot spring is 100% natural flowing spring water.It has a smooth texture that clings gently to the skin. The large open-air bath, which can accommodate about 30 people at once and offers a majestic view of Mount Yufu in front, as well as the eight hot springs within the facility, including the large open-air bath, are all available for private use. The seven hot springs, excluding the large open-air bath, can be used as many times as you like at your preferred time if they are vacant. We hope you enjoy a leisurely stay with your loved ones. A tent-style villa that suddenly appears as you climb the mountain path. A night of sleeping on a king-size bed surrounded by the scent of the forest, after enjoying seasonal flavors on a breathtaking terrace. Course meals prepared by a private chef. ② Traditional Japanese House Facility Keeping the charm of the good old days.Experience the quintessential Japanese scenery at Kominka Omine. We have restored this traditional Japanese house, which has been steeped in history since the Edo period, to preserve it for future generations and allow people to experience it. Relax on the breezy veranda or gather in the spacious tatami room for breakfast. I believe there's a unique luxury in experiencing the Japanese sensibility of 'space' that you can't find in the city. We offer courses such as enjoying a BBQ on the veranda or gathering around a hot pot in your room. You can privately enjoy the stunning panoramic bath and the secluded sauna. Facilities are used alternately at designated times.
