While not wheelchair accessible, it offers a gentle, step-free design with a bright and clean interior.The three guest rooms are 33㎡ Japanese-style rooms with a 10-tatami layout (unit bath with a view, shower toilet, large sink, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator/freezer, TV), and a private onsen (outdoor and indoor baths). The sea and the sound of waves can be glimpsed through the pine trees.
A lodge located in Myojin, the central area of Kamikochi.From the entrance of Kamikochi, 3 km from the Kamikochi bus terminal through the Konashidaira campsite, it takes about 45 minutes of walking on flat forest terrain to get here, accessible only by backpack. Even if you don't bring anything, there are shower toilets, amenities, and Wi-Fi available.From the lounge on the second floor and the observation bath SPA on the second floor, you can enjoy mountain scenery. A quiet lodge that originated as a samurai residence over 400 years ago due to its safe and flat natural environment. The location of Myojinkan is called Myojin.Untouched natural landscapes remain, and you can gaze up at the sharp mountain peaks towering at an angle of 40 degrees.There is no urban atmosphere here. Within about a 3-minute walk, you can find the Azusa River, Myojin Bridge, and Myojin Pond.In Myojin, there are numerous scenic spots such as the left bank path of the Azusa River before reaching Myojin, Myojin itself, and the mountain views from the Azusa Riverbed at the entrance to Tokugo Pass. The area around Myojin is the largest treasure trove of alpine plants in Kamikochi, including clusters of anemones, and about 100 species of wild birds are observed annually.Around October 20th, you can see the natural larch trees turning red in clusters. Myojin Square has public restrooms.Myojin Hall has a café.During lunchtime, there are times when day-trippers are abundant. Due to the surrounding forested area, ponds, and the Azusa River, the annual maximum temperature remains below 28°C. Since early mornings are consistently more likely to be clear, extended stays are recommended.
This is an inn located at the foot of the mountain where the ruins of Iwamura Castle, selected as one of Japan's 100 famous castles and one of the three great mountain castles, are situated. The exterior reflects the atmosphere of a Ninomaru (second bailey).The high atrium lobby designed in the style of gassho-zukuri (traditional Japanese architecture), along with the dining hall's large space featuring thick beams, creates a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era.
Every March, when the camellias in our garden are at their peak, we host the 'Tokushima Camellia Festival.'You can view 3,000 camellia trees representing 700 varieties from around the world.In the seedling exhibition house, we offer sales of camellia seedlings and cultivation guidance. Guests staying with us can enjoy the observation bath free of charge.
