A quiet lodge that originated as a samurai residence over 400 years ago due to its safe and flat natural environment. The location of Myojinkan is called Myojin.Untouched natural landscapes remain, and you can gaze up at the sharp mountain peaks towering at an angle of 40 degrees.There is no urban atmosphere here. Within about a 3-minute walk, you can find the Azusa River, Myojin Bridge, and Myojin Pond.In Myojin, there are numerous scenic spots such as the left bank path of the Azusa River before reaching Myojin, Myojin itself, and the mountain views from the Azusa Riverbed at the entrance to Tokugo Pass. The area around Myojin is the largest treasure trove of alpine plants in Kamikochi, including clusters of anemones, and about 100 species of wild birds are observed annually.Around October 20th, you can see the natural larch trees turning red in clusters. Myojin Square has public restrooms.Myojin Hall has a café.During lunchtime, there are times when day-trippers are abundant. Due to the surrounding forested area, ponds, and the Azusa River, the annual maximum temperature remains below 28°C. Since early mornings are consistently more likely to be clear, extended stays are recommended.
