This inn was started 40 years ago by the previous generation who relocated an old folk house from Toyama. The building is over 150 years old and is characterized by its fine beams. The main meal is local cuisine, mainly wild boar hot pot. Salt-grilled rock fish, Shinano Yukimasu and Oiwa fish sashimi, Shinshu soba, seasonal tempura, etc. Depending on the plan, there may be extra boar meat or Shinshu salmon sushi included. The bath is not a large public bath, but it is a hot spring that can be used completely for private use. It is a convenient location for climbing Mt. Yatsugatake, so there are many climbers. Nearby are Otome Falls in Yokoya Gorge, which can be reached in 10 minutes on foot, and Mishaka Pond, which has beautiful reflections, in 15 minutes by car. You can enjoy great nature such as Shirakoma Pond, which is a 40-minute drive away. 30 minutes by car to Suwa Taisha (main shrine). We're a family-run business, so we hope you enjoy your time here and have fun. Please feel free to ask me about sightseeing in the area, mountain climbing, or just casual chat.
