A hidden hot spring inn located in front of the famous waterfall of Minamiboso, "Awamata Falls," situated in Yoro Valley in the south-central part of Chiba Prefecture.Otaki Town, which includes Yoro Valley, has long been an important trading hub where mountain and sea products intersect.Despite being a mountain inn, you can enjoy carefully selected delicacies from the mountains and seas of Minamiboso.The hot spring was named "Fossil Bath" because a sea urchin fossil from about 120 million years ago was discovered during its excavation. Its components are effective for skin diseases, burns, and wounds, earning it the nickname "Beauty Bath."Relax and unwind while surrounded by the majestic nature of inner Boso Peninsula.

A guesthouse limited to two groups per day, operated by Hata-yama Yumetaku, specializing in the breeding, processing, and sale of Tosa Jiro, a rare local chicken known as the 'phantom chicken.'Located at the end of a road along the gorge upstream from Aki city center, it's a solitary inn in a secluded spot.The local chicken Tosa Jiro, distinct from the chicken meat in today's market, has unique meat quality and fat composition, making it considered difficult to handle.This inn, offering flavors that only producers who continuously work with Tosa Jiro can achieve, is frequented by food enthusiasts and professional chefs.Particularly, the charcoal-grilled dishes, cooked using Tosa Binchotan charcoal, are prepared one piece at a time right in front of guests by the producer.While enjoying the delicious meals, guests can also learn plenty of trivia about Tosa Jiro.Additionally, the inn is surrounded by forests, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature.In summer, activities like 'chairing' by the nearby Hatayama River can be enjoyed.On nights of the new moon, you can gaze at a sky full of stars and even catch sight of shooting stars.
