This is a small inn with 8 rooms located along the Sukumo River, about 5 minutes by car from Hakone Yumoto Station. You can spend a luxurious time enjoying the hot springs privately in the four guest rooms with open-air baths. Additionally, you can enjoy four different types of baths within the hotel. For dinner, we serve creative Japanese kaiseki cuisine with a seasonal feel, using carefully selected ingredients.

In the detached room, there are 3 private hot springs with 100% Bandaiko source. It is open all night, so you can enjoy Kusatsu's hot water whenever you like. For breakfast, we offer kamameshi as a service, which has been well received.

■About Hoshi ~Hokuriku's oldest inn~ The history of Hoshi began at the same time as the history of Mt. Hakusan, one of Japan's three most sacred mountains, which celebrated its 1300th anniversary. Hakusan Daigongen appeared in Taicho Daishi's dream pillow and told him about a sacred spring hidden deep in the earth. Daishi went to this Awazu according to the god's message and dug up a sacred spring. It's the beginning. After the death of Masaaki Hoshi, his adopted son, Zengoro, took over as the second generation, and since then, it has continued to be run by the family for 46 generations, which is rare in the world and continues to protect the hot springs.
