Kakeyu Onsen has a long history as a therapeutic hot spring area (spa treatment site) and remains a destination where many people come to recover their health through hot spring therapy.Tsuruyu Ryokan has been operating as a hot spring inn for over 330 years.Blessed with a location along the valley, guests can enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the four seasons from the rooms and baths.Near the inn, there are walking paths and a suspension bridge, providing a relaxing environment and leisure time.The facility is designed with barrier-free accessibility, making it easy to use for wheelchair users.The highly effective hot spring water can also be consumed, and guests can enjoy baths at different temperatures with bathing guidance provided by certified hot spring therapy instructors.To make extended stays comfortable, meals are prepared with a daily changing menu, using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible.

Hot spring with a unique cold spring source. Renovated in Reiwa 6, now featuring gender-separated saunas and open-air baths with natural hot spring water flow. Day-use bathing is also available. Guest rooms are primarily traditional Japanese-style (tatami) rooms. All toilets in the facility are now equipped with warm-water washing systems.
