Ume no Yu reopened on September 5, 2016, after renovations, featuring upgraded facilities such as high-concentration hydrogen baths, outdoor rock baths, jet baths, medicinal baths, and saunas. The front desk showcases a mural of Iroha Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game, that once decorated the ceiling. A yakitori restaurant is also attached for your dining enjoyment.
