My family and I really enjoyed looking at all the artefacts and the collection of taxidermed animals was impressive. A lot of fossils and some excellent rooms focused on the flora and fauna of Japan...Visited July 2025 -

I Recommend it , close to the Ueno Station and to the Tokyo National Museum . I visited this museum on 19th Apr 2025 , fee was 640 yen (4-5 euro!!) , restorooms , souvenir shops , lounge to rest...Visited April 2025 -

This is an absolute MUST DO in Ueno Tokyo! (Don’t confuse this with the Miraikan Science Myseum - which by the way is also awesome). This is the one located in Ueno Park next to the National Museum...Visited November 2024
