Description
Maruzen was established in 1869 and has supported the intellectual activities of many people since then. Nihonbashi Store, which can be said to be the origin of Maruzen, was renovated in 2007. With the concept of the store “The First MARUZEN,” which means to value books and stationery and to return to the origin of Maruzen, we offer selected products while thinking of the quality as the first priority.
At the fountain pen section on the first basement floor, a wide selection of domestic and international fountain pens is available so that you can find your favorite one. At Maruzen Cafe on the third floor, “Hayashi rice” is served, which is a dish created by the company's founder, Yuteki Hayashi. At the gallery, you can enjoy a selection of arts and crafts. World Antique Book Plaza, where antique books from around the world are collected, is also attached.
With a store space where tradition and novelty are blended, we offer a carefully selected selection of items and attentive service, aiming to be a store that offers Maruzen “First” quality. We are looking forward to your visit.
