I attended a exhibition of Japanese buddhist sculpture-the exhibition was outstanding marred only by the fact that there was no English guide and limited information on the exhibits themselves.Visited November 2018 -

三井財閥所蔵の、中世から近代に至るまでの様々な美術品や工芸品を主体に展示されている美術館です。明治期に建築された三井本館のクラシカルな外観とは打って変わって、美術館内は近未来的な印象を受けます。展示室の数は多いですが各部屋の広さは大小様々。しかも整然とした配置ではなく、他の美術館とは異なった配置で、且つ内装も落ち着いた暗め系から明るい白系まで。次はどんな部屋だろう、どんな展示なんだろう...Visited October 2017
