Tokyo Character Street

The Tokyo Character Street is located on the Yaesu North Exit side of the basement floor of the Tokyo Station building, and many character merchandise shops are gathered. Official shops of popular shows of NHK, the major five TV broadcasting companies in Tokyo, and others line the street. It is a dreamlike space as many stores, including the Hello Kitty Shop, which carries the world-famous Hello Kitty brand, Rilakkuma Store, Pokemon Store, and JUMP Shop (Shueisha's official shop). At Shochiku Kabukiya Honpo, goods and traditional crafts associated with kabuki are sold, and they make perfect gifts. In the Ichiban Plaza Event Space, some limited-time character merchandise shop promotion or other events are held so that you can enjoy yourself every time you visit. This is a place where not only kids but people in three generations can enjoy.
