Shinjuku Points of Interest: Feel the Greenery!
At Shinjuku Gyoen, which is a short walk from Shinjuku Station, you can see a number of elaborate gardens such as the Japanese Garden and the English Landscape Garden. In spring, it is crowded with people who come to view the cherry blossoms. Opening hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. General admission is 200 yen. In the garden, you must not bring or drink alcohol, nor use playground or sports equipment.
