The Momentum by Porsche, the world’s first cafe by the famous luxury car manufacturer, has opened in Ginza. The cafe’s space and menus are full of the world-class brand's spirit, so you'll feel excited, whether you love cars or not!
Be Fascinated by the Cafe’s Playful Mood and Quickly become a Fan!
Experience the feeling of excitement as you enter the cafe that features Porsche's miniature cars, arranged on the overhead light fixtures. In total, there are 156! Even though Porsche has an image as a world-class brand with luxury cars, you'll be fascinated by their playful mood and quickly become Porsche's captive.
Eating Porsche Sweets
You are free to look around the restaurant before taking your seat and since the cafe is next to the showroom called the Porsche Center Ginza, you can even find a real Porsche! The wall is removed, connecting both areas and enabling guests to move freely in-between.
Here we have an Assorted Original Dessert Plate, a popular menu item during cafe time, at a special seat in the cafe. Its contents are different depending on the day. A beautifully decorated pumpkin tart with chiffon cake, a miniature parfait, and macarons, among other items, made appearances on this day! The ice cream in the miniature parfait is from MINORIYA in Karuizawa, which John Lennon is said to have loved. Although it's vanilla ice cream, it's very rich like caramel, and melts refreshingly in your mouth, which is very tasty. This is the only place in the city where you can get it.
The original blended coffee is also delicious! Even people who love to add sugar and cream to their coffee can drink it black, since it's so refreshing and smooth. After the staff takes your order, they'll then begin to carefully make your coffee using the drip method. It seems to have many fans.
Take a Porsche for a Test Drive after your meal? Wow!
After you've had a unique time at the cafe, you can then take a field trip to the showroom next door. Most people don't have the courage to enter a Porsche shop directly without this chance, and it’s especially popular among young couples. You can actually take a seat and have the chance to feel like a real Porsche owner. The extraordinary seats are very comfortable. So much so, that you'll want to take them home with you! As expected, this top, world class car is different from the others.
The Momentum by Porsche is open only on the weekend as a cafe. You can enjoy the playful mood of the Porsche brand, whether you are a car lover or not.
