Born out of Hong Kong’s underground party scene, cipher is a collective founded in 2017 that has been dedicated to exploring techno’s deep, ritualistic realms. From artists like DJ MARIA. and YSK to international heavyweights such as Amenthia Recordings and Konduku, cipher has built strong ties with Japan’s techno community—and now, they’re finally making their long-awaited debut at Tokyo’s legendary club WOMB.
For this milestone event, cipher teams up with Ni hao ma?, the Tokyo-based underground party renowned for its wild, groovy energy. Ni hao ma? has carved out a unique place in Tokyo’s electronic landscape by bringing together cutting-edge artists and adventurous crowds, hosting events at iconic venues such as VENT in Tokyo and .TAG in Chengdu, and inviting artists like HECTOR OAKS and TAKAAKI ITOH. With their uncompromising vision of deep, hypnotic sound, they remain committed to bridging Tokyo’s local scene with the global underground movement.
This powerful collaboration brings together the core residents of both parties alongside elite selectors representing the Hong Kong scene. Harnessing the city’s fast-paced, witty, and ever-evolving energy, amplified by the raw force of Tokyo’s underground, cipher and Ni hao ma? promise to create a one-of-a-kind night. -

Event Details
The Amsterdam-based Japanese-run record label Sound Of Vast celebrates the 4th anniversary of Wicked. Over the years, Wicked has invited artists such as Chaos In The CBD, Antal, Peach, DJ Nobu (House set), Kamma & Masalo, and Soichi Terada, creating a truly unique space in today’s house music scene.
This time, under the theme “10 Years of Sound Metaphors”, Wicked welcomes Sound Metaphors DJs—currently one of the most influential forces driving Berlin’s underground scene—and Romain FX , whose hit release “Spacer Woman” made waves last year and who is set to drop his upcoming “Musique de Maison EP” on Sound Of Vast this October. -

Event Details
The iconic Tokyo techno party Modest returns on Friday, October 10.
Headlining are HARUKA, a leading figure in Japan’s techno scene, and Sakuma, the driving force behind Modest. The main floor will be brought to life with immersive visuals from the internationally acclaimed REALROCKDESIGN, fusing sound and light into a powerful experience.
On the 4F VIP Floor, long-standing local veterans will deliver deep, experimental selections.
Meanwhile, the 1F WOMB Lounge offers a more eclectic atmosphere—an intimate space where diverse expressions meet, wrapped in rich, relaxing soundscapes. -
