Description
Arakawa Shizen Park, the largest municipal park in Arakawa Ward, is a scenic space rich in nature with a pond and woods. In 1982, the park was selected as one of the Tokyo 100 Views, and is beloved by ward residents as one of Tokyo's top scenic locations. Within its 61,068 square meters reside diverse trees and wild plants, giving us the pleasure of seasonal views as we stroll through the park. There is a Traffic Park where you can learn about traffic regulations in Japan while riding a bicycle, tricycle or go-kart. Other facilities include an athletic open space, baseball field and tennis courts that can be reserved for a fee and insect watching park and swimming pool (seasonal). Visitors can enjoy various kinds of activities throughout the year at this park. A short walk from either Arakawa-nichome Station on the Toden Arakawa Line, or Arakawa-shisen-koen-iriguchi bus stop on the Sakura Community Bus.
