HULS Gallery Tokyo is pleased to present an exhibition featuring new demitasse creations by ceramic artist Taki Nakazato, who works at the Ryutagama Kiln in Karatsu. A demitasse, with a capacity about half that of a standard coffee cup, is ideal for savoring rich, dark-roasted coffee. As a coffee enthusiast himself, Taki meticulously crafts these small yet functional and charming pieces. You may find the perfect companion for your next relaxing coffee break. We are hosting a special event where you can savor the exquisite coffee brewed by Katsuji Daibo, the former owner of the renowned "Daibo Coffee" in Aoyama, Tokyo, which closed in 2013. HULS Gallery Tokyo will hold a solo exhibition of “KOTENRA”, a jewelry brand that captures landscapes of color under the theme of “Time and Memory.” Artist Seiki Kotenra translates abstract images inspired by painting into jewelry, expressing his unique approach to color. Each meticulously handcrafted piece serves as a wearable work of art, adding vibrancy to everyday outfit. This exhibition will feature a wide range of pieces for sale, including a new design inspired by spring flowers, as well as earrings, necklaces, and brooches. We warmly invite you to experience this exhibition, which evokes the arrival of spring.
