Ceramic artist Hideki Yamamoto, based in Saga Prefecture, creates timeless pieces that seamlessly blend meticulously crafted forms with the subtle yet captivating expressions of his glazes. His works, which harmonize beautifully with food and flowers, stem from his flexible approach that values materials and considers the user’s experience. This exhibition, returning to HULS Gallery Tokyo after four years, will showcase not only his popular “Genyu” (deep black glaze) and “Mishima-de,” but also new works and sculptural objects created specifically for this occasion. We invite you to experience the charm of these captivating creations firsthand.
