Description
In the Shinkosai Festival there is a parade with 2 Gohoren (imperial carriages), a portable shrine and 3 decorated floats. It includes a procession of 500 people in gorgeous costumes. In addition, in the parade goes to the Tokyo Imperial Palace for religious ceremonies, and prayers are made for the emperor.
Date and time: June 7th to 17th every other year
The Shinkosa Junko parade (June 10th) is from 7:30 to 16:45, but the timing of other events can change. Please contact the organizers directly for further details.
