Description
This entertainment complex consists of Akasaka TBS broadcast center, the 1,190-square-meter Sacas Plaza (located in front of the former), Akasaka BLITZ live music club, Akasaka ACT Theater and more, all bustling with events. Sacas takes its name from the plural form of saka (slope), because there are many slopes in Akasaka, the town of traditional culture, and from sakasu (to bloom or prosper), in the sense of a new flower of culture. In winter, the outdoor skating link — the largest in town — is beautifully illuminated, and in spring, about 100 cherry trees bloom. There are many good shopping and dining facilities as well, including in Akasaka Biz Tower. Directly connected to Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line.
