Yumenoshima Park
Description
The Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome (Yume-no-shima Nettai Shokubutsukan) is located in between a canal and a waterway in the large, 43-hectare Yumenoshima Park. It is a botanical garden with three iconic hemispheric glass domes. It was built for visitors to learn about tropical plants that are strongly tied to their daily life. The botanical garden has a big greenhouse in which a wide variety of tropical and subtropical plants are gathered, as well as an area where plants from the Ogasawara Islands, including some precious endemic species, can be observed. You can enjoy an exotic atmosphere that the plants create. The building also houses facilities such as a movie hall, where visitors can learn about plants and tropical regions, an information gallery, and an event hall. The Yumenoshima Park is popular among young families. It is a 15-minute walk from the Shinkiba Station on any of the lines. You can also take a bus from the Subway Tozai Line Toyocho Station.
