Description

A long-established restaurant founded in 1648. This is the restaurant where a man deceived and lured in a fox in the classic rakugo (a form of verbal entertainment), ”Oji Kitsune.” It's famous for the kamayaki tamago (hearth-baked egg) that is featured in the story (reservation is required for this dish.) Full marks for taste and substance. The restaurant is currently closed.
