Japan Olympic Museum

”The heart of Japan's ''Olympic Movement''

Visitors are first greeted by an exciting visual presentation on what the Olympic Games mean to us. Also: special exhibitions, events, café, and museum shop.

On this floor, learn about the history and ideology of the Olympic Games. See how the Olympic Games have affected the world through multiple viewpoints, the challenges Japan's athletes have faced, and how Japan has influenced the Olympic Games. Feel the sights and sounds through immersive footage of Olympian dynamism and opening ceremonies, experience the physical movements of Olympic sports, learn what makes Olympian athletes tick, and try to match their physical abilities.

This courtyard preserves the Olympic Movement legacy with replica installations of the Olympic Symbol, Olympic Cauldron, and more.

* Due to Covid-19 precautions, entrance reservation availability, prices, and exhibition content are subject to change.”
