The head store of the famous Hakuhinkan Toy Park can be found in glitzy Ginza, offering five entire floors of over 200,000 different toys and items. This isn't just a magical wonderland for the little ones but also incredibly fun and exciting - release your inner child!
First Floor: Cute and Colorful Party Goods to Fancy up any Party
The first floor of Hakuhinkan Toy Park is filled with a whole variety of goods, including stationery, interior, and the aforementioned party goods. From garlands and balloons to decorate both walls and ceilings to intriguingly designed paper plates and cups, everything you need to fancy up you kid's next birthday can be found right here. Pick a theme or just be inspired by the many items on display and hunt for your favorites!
Second Floor: Meet and Greet with Over 15,000 Plushies
Welcome to animal kingdom! The second floor is a colorful paradise of plush: not only the classic bears and mammals are waiting to be picked up by a loving child here but also rarer plushies such as sea creatures, our favorites from cartoons and comics, dinosaurs, and even insects such as the cicada or the dung beetle. We're sure you'll find your adult self marveling at the many carefully created critters.
What seems like a zoo or an aquarium actually might be much better - your kid's personal favorite can easily be picked up and adopted straight away!
Third Floor: Intriguing Toys for the Littlest Ones
Specializing on infants and toddlers, the third floor offers everything that the hearts of our littlest ones desire.
Next to mini-cars and trains, the Kids & Baby Park is a particularly interesting highlight for visitors, equipped with thoughtfully selected toys of the highest quality. Over 1,000 items from 20 countries can be acquired, including wooden toys, musical instruments, ride-on toys, and more. Push, pull, and rearrange - especially the educational toys for all different ages are a big recommendation and make for wonderful gifts!
Fourth Floor: Get Wild on the Slot Car Circuit!
The fourth floor is all things games - card games, board games, action games, and video games of all kinds of genres can be found here. Puzzle enthusiasts will also not be disappointed with the massive selection of jigsaw puzzles on sale.
The real highlight of the fourth floor, however, is the Hakuhinkan Racing Park, a big slot car circuit that can be enjoyed by parents and kids together. Not everyone has the space to fit an entire slot car circuit in their home, so do make sure to seize this fun and exciting opportunity! (200 yen for 5 minutes)
Basement Floor: Welcome to the World of Dolls
A unique Fashion Doll Park awaits in the basement floor, centered on fashion dolls such as Licca-chan, Japan's classic take on Barbie. Not only the dolls themselves but numerous items like clothes and shoes, interior, and other doll-related accessories can be bought. Coordinate a new outfit or design a living room!
On the same floor, a shop called DOOB 3D Ginza will let you create an original 3D doll of yourself! Shot with 54 cameras, the little version of you is sure to be a one-of-a-kind doll, second to none in the entire world - and it looks just like the real thing. Not just you, of course, but why not recreate your entire family? (starting at 15cm for 19,800 yen, tax excluded)
