These cafés, designed by the world's top high-class brands, offer wonderfully sophisticated spaces to relax at while exploring the vast city of Tokyo. From select sweets to original cocktail creations, these places are sure to help you relax and enjoy a luxurious atmosphere.
An Airy Sky Terrace
At the top of the prestigious Chanel Building, you will find Le Jardin de Tweed. It is a rooftop terrace themed around the iconic Chanel tweed. This is the perfect place to enjoy a sunny day in Ginza. Once the sun has set, the scenery of Tokyo's glittering night time skyline will spread in front of you with both the Tokyo Skytree (R) and Tokyo Tower illuminating the night sky.
A Menu as Popular as it is Unique
The food and drinks served at Le Jardin de Tweed are created just one floor below, in the French restaurant called Beige Alain Ducasse. One of the most popular menu items is the Ginza Box available for 3,000 yen, a set including both light snacks and desserts that is limited to thirty orders per day. Even the paper box in which the dishes are served is a sight to behold: made in collaboration with WASADA, it also features Chanel's famous tweed pattern. With a champagne in one hand and a delicious snack in the other, Le Jardin de Tweed is sure to provide a wonderfully luxurious time.
A Feast for All Senses: Limited Sweets
There's a special treat that the patissier of Beige Alain Ducasse creates: Camelia, a dessert designed after Coco Chanel's favorite flower. The treat can be enjoyed for 2,500 yen each but you need to be fast - there are only ten per day on sale and they are incredibly sought after, as even the box in which they are sold is designed with a flower motif and thus extremely beautiful.
The flavor of the Camelias change on a monthly base, with different jelly and mousse, making each and every one a little, unique piece of art.
The Jardin de Tweed doesn't require any reservation, so why not stop by on your next trip to Ginza?
Hours: April 1st (Fri) to October 30th (Sun), 2016
※Closed from August 1st to August 16th.

Only Two of its Kind: A Very Exclusive Café Lounge
One of the world's most luxurious brands, Gucci, has opened a large flagship store in Ginza in 2009. On the fourth floor, you'll find Gucci Café - the only other café like this is in Milan, making the Tokyo location one of the world's two only Gucci Cafés in the entire world. This extravagant status can be felt vividly and pleasantly as soon as you step inside. The elegant, relaxed interior makes for a wonderful atmosphere that is sure to let you forget the hustle and bustle of the big city, if even for a little while, as you gaze over Ginza's skyline.
Probably the Best Tiramisu You've Ever Eaten
The tiramisu with fresh forest berries is the most popular item on Gucci Café's menu and is a must-order when coming here. Best enjoyed with hot cocoa or coffee, this delicacy can be savored for 1,600 yen - pay special attention to the interlocking G on top of the dessert, marking the tiramisu as an original Gucci creation.
Particularly Popular: Beautiful Sweets and Souvenir Chocolate
The "seasonal fruits panna cotta," beautifully served in a classic glass with flowers on top, is an especially beautiful dessert creation that can be enjoyed for 1,500 yen. From 5:00 p.m. in the evening, the menu changes to a variety of different aperitifs, served with a dish of the daily special.
A lot of people value the special chocolate graced with the Gucci logo, as a souvenir for family, friends, and colleagues. This rare treat is only available in Milan and Tokyo and therefore especially sought after.
