This is a popular spot where you can enjoy B-grade local gourmet from all over Japan in one place. Menus here are created by about 70 groups and are regularly changed. Smaller portions and half size items are available, so this place is also recommended for people who want to have a bit of everything or have something for snacks.

Animax Café for anime lovers!

Animax Café is a concept café that is produced by Animax, the TV channel specializes in Japanese anime. From time to time, they collaborate with popular anime, during which you can enjoy limited menu. The reservation is required for the seats on the second floor, but not on the first floor as long, so stop by and take unoccupied seats while your stroll in the area.

Star Kebab at high competitive kebab market area

Akihabara area is in fact a high competitive market for the doner kebab, Turkish cuisine. Among many kebab shops, Star Kebab has three stores in the area, and it is an initiator of the kebab boom. You can choose the size, type of meat and sauce of your preference.

Omusubi GABA with special rice

There are reported effects of the gamma-aminobutyric acid, a functional nutrient composition including the decrease of blood pressure and anti-stress effect by improving quality of sleep. They use GABA rice that includes this nutrient composition 5 to 10 times higher than the regular rice. As well as rice balls with typical ingredients such as plums and salmons, they have unique ingredients such as foie gras picked with miso. Try them with a warm miso soup.
