Introducing 3 great spots to take pictures while shopping in Akihabara's Electric town! All these spots are near the station, so they're perfect for taking pictures while sightseeing. Akihabara is attractive not only during the day, but also at night when the neon lights shine bright. Get your cameras ready, let's go!
Capture the Ambience of Akihabara!

On Sundays, the pedestrian crosswalk on Akihabara's main street, Chuo-dori Street, is a great place to take pictures. Stores selling electronics line both sides of the streets. The electronic shops are open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. from January to March), and are closed on rainy days. If you're lucky, you may get to see staff from a maid cafe or cosplayers.
Take a Picture from an Antique Bridge!

Mansei-bashi bridge is a photo spot that brings the antique taste of old Japan to today's modern Japan. It's said that it is designed to look like a bridge built in the Meiji period. From the bridge, you can see a beautiful view of buildings afar, and it is a spot that many people visit to snap pictures. We recommend taking pictures there during the day and also at night when it is lit up.
An impressive lineup of Capsule-toy Machines!

This is a specialty store specializing in gacha-gacha, Japanese capsule toy vending machines. The "Akihabara Gachapon Kaikan" has about 480 machines for customers to enjoy. Many types of prizes, including elaborate anime, animal or food figurines are offered, and it's a spot you'll definitely want to get a picture of. Don't forget to get your favorite items too.
