Description
This is a hot spring inn located in a cove with a stunning view of the coastline of Nishi-Izu Dogashima, part of the Izu Peninsula UNESCO Global Geopark. Right in front is the 'Tombolo Phenomenon,' a path to Sanshiro Island that appears and disappears with the tide. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sunset sinking into Suruga Bay.
The open-air bath along the shoreline, a signature attraction, was featured in the anime 'Laid-Back Camp' and attracts anime fans from overseas.
The five-story concrete building has a purely traditional Japanese-style design, evoking the atmosphere of Japanese architecture.
