In the summer of 2020, the Naguri area in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, saw the opening of an integrated facility called 'Nolla naguri,' where you can experience Nordic culture. It features Finnish-style outdoor saunas, glamping, Nordic-style BBQ, and you can enjoy markets and events on weekends. While fully appreciating the region's rich natural surroundings, it serves as a tourism hub for the mountainous Naguri area, and also functions as a venue for forest experiences and environmental education.
It is a unique inn which has an impressive matsuri-kan (festival hall) replicating food stalls from the Chichibu Yomatsuri (the Chichibu Night festival). Meals served as guests gather and sit around the irori (Japanese traditional fireplace) include natural delicacies special to the mountain village.
