Experience the Magic of Moominvalley Park's 200m Umbrella Sky: A Colorful 2026 Limited Event
The 2026 theme is "Comet in Moominland."
Following the heartwarming message from the story, "We are braver together," the event brings to life the adventurous journey of Moomintroll and his friends. Upon hearing rumors of a comet approaching Moominvalley, they set off for the observatory, overcoming various obstacles through the power of friendship.
The "Umbrella Sky" this year captures the joy of these companions and the vibrant beauty of Moominvalley. Stretching across a breathtaking 200-meter path, the installation transforms with the light: on sunny days, the umbrellas cast a kaleidoscope of colors on the ground, while on rainy days, the reflections create a shimmering, magical atmosphere. It is an immersive experience that sparks excitement with every step.
Look up to find colorful umbrellas adorned with character balloon panels featuring the beloved friends from Comet in Moominland, creating a perfectly photogenic space.
Starting in mid-May, the experience becomes even more enchanting. Hydrangeas will bloom along Bathhouse Cove Street, marking the start of the "Umbrella Sky & Hydrangea Road." Visitors can enjoy a stunning contrast between the vibrant umbrellas above and the seasonal flowers below.
