Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC)

Beginning in August 2005 and billed as being historically the largest fashion festa ever held, this twice annual event has for its theme ”Introducing Japanese girls culture to the world.”

The show features about 100 top models in Japan and beginning with a fashion show of real clothes, there are live musical performances by top artists as well as booths where you can touch and try on topical items. TGC is an event drawing attention both nationally and internationally for its rich content. A unique feature is that the fashions worn by the models can be bought at on-site or on its website.

In addition, collaborative events have been actively held with local cities throughout Japan since 2015 (Kitakyushu City, Hiroshima City, Toyama City, Shizuoka City, Kumamoto City). While delivering ”Tokyo's cutting-edge fashions” to young people in local areas, TGC also conveys its attractions to these cities.
