This is an inn that is familiar to many from old times as a main hub for pilgrims who are on a pilgrimage. Facing the Yokose River, a tributary of the Arakawa River, this inn is popular as a hotel. The hot spring is said to be effective against conditons such as shoulder stiffness and rheumatism.

A hot spring inn located at the entrance of the Okuchichibu onsen (hot spring), it has a main building with 6 guest rooms as well as an annex building. It boasts refined hot springs such as an open-air bath surrounded by a bamboo forest, and iwaburo (a bath made using rocks). Their local vegetable-centric original dishes are popular for going well with local sake (Japanese rice wine).
It is a unique inn which has an impressive matsuri-kan (festival hall) replicating food stalls from the Chichibu Yomatsuri (the Chichibu Night festival). Guests can enjoy not only an open-air cypress bath and a large bath, but also book a private open-air bath for a fee. Meals served as guests gather and sit around the irori (Japanese traditional fireplace) include natural delicacies special to the mountain village.
