In April 2018, FUJIYA HOSTEL (Fujiya Hostel) was born anew, run by Yamashita Shoten, a tofu shop that renovated a century-old traditional house and took over Boat Inn Fuji, a beloved destination for anglers over many years. It accommodates only four groups per day. 50 minutes by high-speed ferry or 70 minutes by regular ferry from mainland Kyushu.
