This house was built in the 23rd year of the Meiji era. With a long history, we have cultivated a kind and inclusive spirit. This is a house that makes visitors feel at ease, as if they have returned to their hometown. Spread out on the tatami, experience a farm in the fields, and enjoy hearty cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. At night, you can see a sky full of stars. Enjoy country life as much as you want.
In the summer of 2017, the couple moved from Gifu to Kagawa. This is a lodging where we welcome our guests with the unique values and perspectives of those who have moved here, and the "charms of this region" that we have learned while living here. Totototsu is written as "Totototsu". A lodging where you can enjoy food and have a leisurely experience. Or a guesthouse. Or a traditional Japanese guesthouse. A traditional one-story Japanese house called "Yatsuo" that remains in the central and western Sanuki areas of Kagawa Prefecture. The building was built in 1988, so it is not old enough to be called a traditional Japanese house. Totototsu is a private lodging that only accepts reservations for one group per day. We can provide the best hospitality to up to six people. In addition to the bedroom, we have prepared two rooms as personal spaces where you can relax. Please feel free to use the wooden-floored room for the dining area and the tatami room for the tea table. For dinner, you can choose between Western and Japanese cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients and vegetables from our own farm. For breakfast, they serve Western-style food made with vegetables from their own farm and homemade bread. In the summer of 2024, they will begin offering tour and experience options. They are currently developing guided tours using vehicle transportation support and folding bicycles, as well as indoor experiences.
