Established in 1902, a long-established Japanese-style inn. The gate, fence, and building are all registered tangible cultural properties. The cuisine is authentic kaiseki cuisine using fish from the Seto Inland Sea. The sea is just outside the guest room. This is an inn that appeared in Yasujiro Ozu's film "Tokyo Story".
Although it is a small inn, it is built on a slope, so it has many stairs. The floor is 3 stories from the top [front (1st floor), guest room (B1), guest room (B2) passage to the bath], and there is no elevator. There is always a spiral staircase for check-in / check-out and transportation to the dining venue.
