Benesse House opened in 1992 as a facility combining a museum and hotel under the concept of 'harmony among nature, architecture, and art.' The facility includes four distinct accommodation buildings: the 'Museum,' where you can stay inside the museum; the 'Oval,' offering breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea; the 'Park,' surrounded by sea, greenery, and art; and the 'Beach,' enveloped by the sound of gentle waves. Additionally, it features restaurants, cafes, a spa, and shops. All the architecture is designed by Tadao Ando and is structured to harmonize with the environment of the Setonaikai National Park over time. The long slopes, stairs, passageways, and natural light pouring through framed openings invite guests to a unique experience of engaging with contemporary art throughout the facility. On Rakuten Travel, rooms in the newly established 'Park' and 'Beach' buildings, added in 2006, are available. For check-in at either accommodation building, please proceed to the 'Park' front desk.
