■About the Room The room you'll be staying in, 'Ume no Ma,' was constructed in 1965.The walls in a vibrant yet calming 'Bengara Red' color, characteristic of Kanazawa, have long been used for building exteriors and interior walls. The room consists of an 8-tatami main room, a 6-tatami adjoining room, a tatami hallway, and a 4.5-tatami waiting area.Your bedding is prepared with Airweave mattresses and feather futons for a comfortable rest. The bathroom features a hinoki wood bathtub, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing bath infused with its distinct aroma.Room amenities include cosmetics infused with Kanazawa's signature gold leaf. Dinner and breakfast are served in a separate building called 'Ochitei.' Dinner features Kaga-style kaiseki cuisine for your enjoyment.The meal comprises dishes such as appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, sashimi, simmered items, grilled items, main courses, vinegared dishes, rice, and seasonal fruits, arranged creatively to reflect seasonal changes.Signature Kaga dishes like jibuni stew and lotus steamed dishes can also be included upon request.In addition, a variety of locally brewed sake from famous breweries in the prefecture is available.
